Courmayeur is situated on the Italian side of Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain, at the top of the Aosta Valley. It can be reached via the A5 autostrada from Milan approx. 220km/2½ hours or from Turin approx. 150km/1½ hours. Alternatively from Geneva, Courmayeur is reached via the autoroute Blanche via Chamonix and the Mont Blanc Tunnel (toll payable) approx. 100km/1½ hours.

Courmayeur offers an all encompassing ski holiday with good skiing with dramatic surrounding mountain scenery, fantastic mountain restaurants, a sophisticated Italian resort town with a great selection of après ski bars, pizzerias, stylish shops, a range of activities including multi-sports centre and a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

Having lived, worked and holidayed in Courmayeur since 1985 I can honestly say it is my favourite all round ski resort in Europe!
