Ski Lift Passes

As the Ski Lift Pass Office in La Thuile is situated by the main cable car station, it is easy to buy your own lift pass before your first trip up the mountain.  There is a line of cashiers with prices for different durations who take either cash (euros) or credit cards and is a very speedy process.  Please remember a copy of passports for children or senior citizens to take advantage of concessions.  For more information and price guide please call our reservations team on 01202 479988 or email holidays@justskiing.co.uk

Ski Hire

Just Skiing have teamed up with the Berthod Sport Ski Hire Shop for all your ski, snowboard and equipment requirements. It is ideally located in the main Lift Station by the Les Suches gondola where there is free locker storage (5 euros key deposit) for equipment hired through the shop and lockers available to rent for your own ski equipment. Please note: Children up to 14 yrs are required to wear helmets when skiing or boarding which can be rented at the shop.

Ski School 

Just Skiing can arrange Ski School and we recommend that you book lessons well in advance of your ski trip to avoid disappointment, particularly during the school holidays.  La Thuile Ski School now boasts 63 ski teachers of the highest technical ability and professionalism.  The majority of instructors teach classical downhill skiing, cross country and snowboarding but some are specialized in ‘newer’ techniques such as telemark, carving, snow blading and free ride.  There are English speaking instructors.

Group Lessons

Start (promptly!) at 10am to 12.30pm 5 days a week Monday to Friday.  The size of the group can vary depending on the week (minimum 4, maximum 12). Children must be over 5 years old.  Ski School can be booked (from November 2009) with Just Skiing or with the Ski School direct by email:  scuoladisci@lathuile.it  and quote Just Skiing. The Ski School has an office at the bottom of the mountain on the nursery slope by Planibel and the ski lifts which is also the meeting point on the first day of lessons. Please note: If you arrive on a Saturday there are no group lessons on Sunday. Just Skiing recommends that beginner skiers either travel on a Sunday to commence Ski School on Monday or book a private lesson for the Sunday.

Private lessons Skiing & Snowboarding

These are available and can be pre-booked with Just Skiing or booked on your arrival in La Thuile. Please note: During the high season private lessons are in high demand so early booking is essential.
