This popular family run 2 star hotel is tucked away down a cobbled alley yet just a short walk to the main shops, bars and restaurants of Courmayeur’s Via Roma. It is also possible to walk to the cable car, approximately 1km away. This traditional alpine hotel has a lively bar, good restaurant and the friendly staff create a very welcoming atmosphere, where customers return year after year.

Accommodation
The accommodation is arranged over 4 floors, serviced by a lift. There are 30 basic yet well-maintained rooms, all with en suite shower room, telephone and TV. Some of the rooms at the front of the hotel have balconies with views over the picturesque town to the ski area and the Mont Blanc peaks beyond. There is a family suite on the top floor, which can sleep up to 4/5 with an en suite bathroom.

Facilities
The restaurant is situated on the first floor and offers a buffet continental style breakfast and a set dinner menu offering local specialities and Italian cuisine. The reception is on the ground floor providing local information and leads through to the bar/lounge area with comfortable seating and games for entertainment. There is also a TV lounge room and internet access (extra cost). Parking is available in front of the hotel and under cover garage by arrangement.

This is an all time favourite of mine having known the Roveyaz family for many years and had many successful holidays at Hotel Edelweiss.
The only problem is availability as it is a very popular hotel, many people returning year after year as it suits families, friends and couples alike. Hotel Edelweiss offers a welcoming atmosphere, cosy accommodation and good food in a great location. Early booking essential.
