The former Cinema Monte Bianco building has been brought back to life, having been completely refurbished as self catering apartments. Situated close to the town’s main cable car and just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Courmayeur, its prime position means guests can access the ski area, shops bars and restaurants easily.

Accommodaton
Le Grand Chalet consists of 33 apartments: 13 studios, 17 one bedroom and 3 two bedroom apartments, some on two levels. Each apartment has been furnished with great care and attention to detail to offer modern comforts including kitchenette equipped with dishwasher, fridge, electric hob and microwave oven, bathrooms with bathtub and/or shower and hairdryer, thermostatic heating, safe, telephone and satellite television.

Facilities
For guests use there is a welcoming reception, public bar and residents' lounge where the wood, stone and blazing log fire setting creates a warm atmosphere for skiers after a long day on the slopes. A continental buffet breakfast is available on request (extra cost). There is an Internet point, washing machine and dryer available and parking in the underground private garage (extra cost).

There is a modern spa facility (extra cost), which includes jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area, sun bed, tanning shower and massages on request.

These apartments are a great find for those wishing to have the flexibility of self-catering, suitable for families, couples and friends alike.

The apartments have a reception facility and are cleaned daily. They are less than 500m away from the cable car and next to the ski school and ski pass offices. There is a supermarket less than 100m away and opposite is an excellent patisserie.

The main cobbled street with an array of shops, bars and restaurants is again just a short 500m level walk away. After spending a very successful family holiday here, I can highly recommend Le Grand Chalet as an ideal location for a self-catering skiing holiday.
